On the original Dragon LPs (DRLP 90-91), the shorter version of "So What" was joined with "On Green Dolphin Street" to fit on on side A, and the longer version appeared on side C. This incorrect order was perpetuated on Dragon DRCD 228 (but not on the Japanese version, DIW 381/4). The correct order of the titles performed, as noted by contemporary reviews by Carl-Erik Lindgren and Lars Werner and confirmed by producer Lars Westin, is as above.

"Walkin'" is incomplete: twelve measures were removed from Davis' closing solo because of a tape defect.

From March 21 through April 10, the Davis Quintet toured Europe, along with Oscar Peterson and the Stan Getz and their groups, under the auspices of Norman Granz's "Jazz at the Philharmonic." Davis had hired vibraphonist Buddy Montgomery for the tour but at the last minute Montgomery bowed out. Surprisingly few recordings from this tour have surfaced. The itinerary was as follows:
